Grilled tandoori chicken

  • 2 baby chickens, each cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 tbsp tandoori powder

There are a variety of ways people like to make tandoori chicken. This version was highly recommended to me by my colleague, who brought in tandoori chicken she had made for me to taste it. When I did I absolutely loved it, and it was the best tandoori chicken I have ever had. I will share this easy method with you all
  1. Place all the ingredients into a bowl and mix in well together to ensure all the chickens are coated
  2. Cover and leave over night to marinate
  3. Place in a hot grill, 200 degrees celsius, for 20-30 mins or until the chicken is cooked

I made some tabooli, boiled peas and chips to go alongside the chicken. It was so delicious mashAllah, the flavour from the marinate had gone all the way through the chicken! Plus, it is so simple to make and prepare pre-hand! Enjoy :)
