Directions

Batata harra is a Lebanese starter, comprising of fried potatoes, with a lovely kick from garlic and coriander. It is very simple to make, and tastes superb!
  1. Salt the prepared potatoes, then fry in hot oil until golden brown (if you are preparing the potatoes in advance, soak them in water until you are ready to fry them). Transfer onto kitchen paper to soak up any excess oil
  2. Meanwhile in a saucepan, heat the olive oil, then add the garlic and coriander, cooking for a few minutes over medium heat, then add the salt, pepper and cinnamon. After a few minutes, mix in the potatoes and ensure they are well coated

Serve with bread, and just see how tasty this starter is! Enjoy :)
