Red cabbage salad - Lebanese style

  • 0.5 a large red cabbage, finelyyyyy chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 inches cucumber, chopped
  • 0.5 lettuce, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp dried mint
  • 1 handful of chopped parsley
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (adjust according to taste)
  • salt to taste

During my visit to Lebanon, from amongst all the delicious food we ate, this red cabbage salad stood out! Yes, I know, how strange that out of all the food, a salad caught my attention! I guess it is because it wasn't something I had tried before, and I really liked it once I did. So when I got back, I made it the way I had eaten it back home. 
  1. Add all the ingredients above into a serving dish, and mix well
  2. Adjust the lemon juice, olive oil and salt according to your taste

It is that simple! Absolutely delicous, easy and refreshing!
