Directions
This is a lovely Lebanese starter, it reminds me of Ramadan, and I absolutely LOVE IT!! It is so simple and easy to make, and tastes absolutely delicious.
- Heat the olive oil in a pot, then add the pitta bread, until they are heated and gain a little colour
- Meanwhile, cook the minced meat. Once it changes colour and cooks, add the salt, black pepper and cinnamon to the meat, alongside the pine nuts, then set aside
- Add the chickpeas and garlic to the pitta bread, and mix for a few minutes, before adding the yoghurt and salt for literally 30 seconds, before removing off the heat
- Place into the serving dish, and add the meat over then serve hot
