Directions

Kebabs are well known, and loved by many. Kafta is very similar, and you can make it in different ways according to what dish you want to make. In this recipe it is made to look like kebabs, but there are also other ways to serve the kafta, like layering it with potatoes, tomatoes etc. In this recipe the easy way of making kafta is shown, and what you wish to serve it with is left to your liking.
  1. Combine all the above ingredients in a bowl, and using your hands, mix well until all is combined
  2. There are two ways this was cooked, one way was to wet both hands with water, then take a small amount of the meat and place it on a wooden skewer, in the shape of a kebab. You then put it on medium/high heat on a grill for 10 mins, then rotate the skewer and leave for another 10 mins
  3. The other way this was made was to also wet both hands with water, then form the shape of a kebab with a small amount of meat. Cook this on a very hot griddle pan, turning the meat when it browns on one side

You can serve this with rice or chips, with a side salad, dips/sauce. It is delicious whatever way you serve. Enjoy :)
