Directions

I like the idea of simple, easy, delicious cooking - as you may have already gathered. This is exactly that - super simple, quick and fun all in one go! This pull apart pizza will go down a treat :)
  1. Use one puff pastry sheet, measure a large plate over the pastry to cut the pastry into a large round circle, then remove the plate
  2. Add the tomato puree and bbq sauce and cover the pastry, then transfer the pastry onto a lined baking tray
  3. Add the mozarella, cheddar cheese and oregano over the pastry
  4. Roll out the second puff sheet and cut out another circle using the same sized plate (save the excess pastry to make something else). Place this second pastry over the first one
  5. Using a smaller bowl or plate, place it over the centre of the pastry, and then cut diagonal strips around the plate to form individual wedges (please cheek picture below). Twist each piece
  6. Beat the egg, then brush this over the pastry. Place in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for at least 20 minutes or until the pastry cooks and the turns golden in colour

Its a quick and fun side to have on the table, and has potential to be much more adventurous in flavours and designs. Enjoy :)
