It seems to be the apple season, because I was given a bag full of apples from a colleague, collected from her garden. So I thought why not make apple jam! It is sooo easy and quick to make!
- Add the apples, water and lemon juice in a pot, and leave on medium heat until the apples boil and become soft, this may take 15-20 mins
- Allow to cool a little before adding the sugar and placing the mixture into a blender to form a paste (alternatively you can manually mash up the apples with the sugar in the pot)
- Place back onto medium heat, and leave until the mixture thickens (mixing from time to time to avoid it sticking)
Once you are done you can place it into a jam jar if you like to make it look fancy, or in any container of your choice. Leave to cool and then refrigerate before eating. Enjoy :)
