This was a recipe request for fried bbq wings and as unhealthy as they sound, they really were a crispy treat! I have made healthier sticky wings before: http://www.nosaibasfood.com/2013/03/healthier-sticky-chicken-wings.html which you may wish to check out. This recipe is super easy and super delicious, it will get all sticky and messy when you're eating it - but I think that is what makes it even more yummy! :)
  1. Prepare your chicken wings by cleaning them and patting them dry. In a bowl add the milk, paprika and tandoori powder then mix. In a separate bowl, add the plain flour, paprika, tandoori powder, salt and black pepper and mix
  2. Heat up oil for frying over medium/high heat. Once the oil is hot, coat each wing piece in the milk, then coat it in the flour. Shake off the excess flour and place it in the hot oil. Fry the wings until crispy and golden then remove onto kitchen paper to drain the excess oil (you may need to fry them in batches)
  3. In a pan, add the bbq sauce, ketchup and sweet chilli sauce over medium heat. Once the mixture bubbles, remove from the heat
  4. Re-fry your chicken wings in hot oil for a few more minutes to crisp them up completely, then remove and place them straight away in the bbq mixture. It may be hard to coat them completely so use your fingers to help ensure they are fully coated - serve
