Nutella filled pancakes

  • 120g plain flour, sifted
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder, sifted
  • 55g caster sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 130ml milk
  • 25g unsalted butter, melted
  • nutella chocolate

    3-4 mins per pancake

Imagine a light and fluffy pancake, then imagine it being filled with warm and gooey nutella - that is exactly what this pancake is! Absolutely delicious mashAllah!
  1. In a bowl, put the flour and baking powder, followed by sugar and salt and stir
  2. Make a well in the centre and add the egg, vanilla extract and milk and whisk until combined
  3. Pour the melted butter slowly whilst whisking, then stir the batter until smooth
  4. Heat a flat pan over medium heat. Using a ladle, pour half a ladle of batter onto the pan. Add one tbsp of nutella chocolate, then add a little bit more of the pancake batter to coat the nutella. Cook for 1-2 mins or until bubbles rise, then flip to other side for another minute or so

These are best eaten straight away, whilst they are nice and warm. So delicious - you will love them! Enjoy!
